The Gem Safari will be divided in three parts:
. mine visits
. a couple of days in Arusha seeing and purchasing rough and cut gems
. a few days on safari

The proposed schedule is the following:

ARUSHA + MINES:

Day 1: Pick up Kilimanjaro International Airport, Over Night The Arusha Hotel
Day 2: Visit mine. Dinner Onsea House. O/n The Arusha Hotel
Day 3: Visit mine. Dinner Arusha Coffee Lodge. O/n The Arusha Hotel
Day 4: Around Arusha. Dinner The Bay Leaf. O/n The Arusha Hotel

Cost for above using:
US$870.00 per person sharing
Single room supplement: US$310.00

Above cost includes:
Arrival transfer.
All transport as indicated in itinerary.
Breakfasts on Days 2,3,4 & 5 and 3 dinners.
Accommodation as specified above.

Cost does not include:
Any Lunches.
Beverages.
Items of a personal nature.

ps: a decent lunch in Arusha for less than $10 is not a problem

SAFARI:

The safari would start on day 5.





Cost for above: US$1,135 per person sharing
Single room supplement: US$185
Above cost includes:
All transports as indicated in itinerary.
All meals from lunch on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 4.
Accommodation as specified above.
All game drives as specified above.
All park fees.

Cost does not include:
Beverages.
Accomodation on Day 4.
Lunch or dinner on Day 4.
Gratuity to driver guide and lodge staff.
Items of a personal nature.

This is not a cheap trip as Tanzania is a high end destination. It's high end because it's a beautiful country to visit. Luckily for us, Tanzania is known not only for its wildlife but also for its gemstones.
